In 2013, TakeLessons realized they needed to rethink their logo. Originally, the brand had offered lessons only in the field of music, but they were quickly evolving and would soon be covering over two hundred categories of learning. The client was looking for a new design that would be forward-thinking and representative of the tech company that they were fast becoming but would not be a complete departure from the music category where it all began. As a bit of visual homage to the company’s origins, the shape of the new logo resembles a guitar pick, but it is abstract enough to universally encompass every category of learning.
